Africa Regional Network (ARN) is a regional network of the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES.) popularly referred to as INWES ARN. The African Regional Network of INWES was initially chartered in 2014 to improve networking opportunities, to boost innovation and support efforts for increasing the number of women in STEM across Africa. INWES AFRICA

The Aim of ARN is to create a common operational platform for African women organizations, institutions, individuals and girls in STEM for development and sustainability STEM in Africa

INWES is a global network that advocates for women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, with members from women in STEM organizations, corporations, universities, and institutions representing over 250,000 members from 60 countries around the globe. Our mission reflects “Building a better future worldwide through full and effective participation of women and girls in all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.”
